You know you're a fangirl and/or fanboy when the highlight of your day is an epiphany about a show.

Not just any show, an animated show.

Not just any animated show, but an American made animated show.

Not just any American made animated show, but an American made animated show that looks like it's trying to be an anime.

I'm talkin' Avatar: The Last Airbender and I just had an epiphany.

It's a giant allusion to WWII. The Fire Nation is Germany, red and black. The Water Tribes are England, blue and white. The Earth Kingdom is France, conquered and invaded by the Fire Nation The Air Nomades are the Jews, yellow for the Stars of David, wiped out by Fire Nation.

Oh yeah. Did I forget that the Fire Nation made labor camps? Yeah. They did with POW from the Earth Kingdom. And Azula, the Fire Nation princess who is controlling most of the action, is highly intelligent, manipulative and a "frightening and inspirational" orator.

Ringing any bells?

This is the difference between Nerdy and Nerdly.
Nerdy, you actively do stuff, think about it, live it, love it, buy all the merchandise. Nerdly, you think about it, live it, love it, be a cheap jungo lungo about it. Yes, I did try to use a Pirates of Dark Waters reference.
